Has anyone else noticed the use of chorus fx on basslines recentley ?????
One example is Metrosound ...the bassline has a heavy chorus effect that can be achieved pretty easily with the right plug in.
Also heard quite a few of Bad Company's/Kemal's tracks exploiting this.
I never really used this effect before but it certainly seems to be the "thing" in production right now.
I had always found it difficult to notice the effect that using chorus creates ...for some reason I have always related it to the definition of the word chorus ...like loadsa people singing ..haha....so if u put a sound into it it duplicates it ....this is definetley not the case.
I have found it adds more of a phasing effect after a lot of experimentation, and it keeps your bassline interesting for real !!! Metrosound is such a simple tune but sounds so bad-ass!!!!!
Big up the chorus effect ... I have only just discovered its power ! (In my last 2 tracks I have been caning that shit )
