Anyone know a URL for gettin "Cool Edit" as Free or Shareware download?
I've been told it is free/shareware; but can I find a site? Can I bugger ...
The only places I find it charge $69 for Cool Edit 2000 and $249 for the Pro version ...

Failing that; has anyone got a crack for either version?

I used to use Cool Edit 2000, i've moved over to Sound Forge now, it kicks ass. I'll PM ya when i get home and hook you up with it if you like..

Soundforge is the bees knees man, get that instead, I prefer it to cool edit.

No worries or rush poi - I'm just grateful for the help! :)

(Plus I'm sure it wont improve my sound too much anyway - comparisons to a toddler with house bricks nailed to it's palms spring to mind... ;) )
