I've finally got my own PC the other day and i wanna start producing DnB.
Does anyone have any free sofware which they could send me or tell me where to get it from please??
E.g Cubase, Reason, fruityloops

suppose your best bet is to get it from a known source firts so u know youtr getting virus free trojan free working copys of whatever you after
piracy is illegal
on a similat subject i jsut put 6 gig of samples and acapellas in wav on cd any 1 wanna do some swapping ??

If i run a virus scan through the cd first before i install, will this pick up any trojans/viruses???:conf:

go look on the grid on doa and find all them high quality sample packs and breaks that should get ya started

I find the best source for downloading anything is usenet i.e. the newsgroups.
Most people i mention this to havent heard of it but everyone who uses it has agreed its well better than anything else.
There are individual categories for everything including alt.binaries.sounds.utilities where you can find a whole load of producing related apps posted there each day. The best bit is the download rates i.e. a constant max bandwidth.
Theres a site where you can check the new posts (you cant actually download anything from there tho). Also for newbies check out the tutorial section. Its a bit of a wierd change from p2p downloading etc but its WELL worth it:

yeah, me :bthumb: you'll have to let me know what kinda stuff you want. i've got about 10 gig of anything and everything on my machine.

ill take anything ya never now what might sound good
its now at 8 cd,s with aprox 600mb on each cd plus im gettin the BiPolar and reinforced cd,s so thats makes it 10
as soon as i get some blank cd,s ill sort it out
