Listening...

love the eerie start, very nice little noise that keeps creeping in and out. *what's that noise ? anyway, nice vibe so far..very dnb. beays have kicked in, no problems so far. i like these beats, nice breaks, at the end of the bar, quite tru playaz-esque. don't like the punchy bass. sounds a bit gay (couldn't think of a better way to describe it - sorry ! :p )
ok, we are at the kick in now, drops ok, I don't know whether it's the speakers here in work, but as it kicks, it doesn't feel full enough. maybe it's just me not really feeling this particular track ? gay line has come back, i can hear some vague sub bass in the background, now i'm really starting to think that these wank speakers aren't doing the track justice (i stand by the gay line comment tho.)
Second drop, builds nicely, no real problems here. It feels like we have been here before, no changes to the main kick in before, at least i can't hear any. and the track winds down.....
overall, I'm not really feeling this one. breaks were nice although i feel you could have done more with them. I could just about hear the bass, it fit with the rest of the track - so no real problem. I just felt that the track took you to a level, then never went anywhere after that.

on to number 2...........

DEPTH CHARGE:

Starts quite similar to Nexus. but so does most dnb so don't worry about it. beats have kicked in, nice vibe, i like the feel of this one already. halfway through the intro you bring in a 'huh' - i don't like this. doesn't do anything for the track in my eyes. bassline is filtering in, i like the sound of this, right up my street.
Ok.... as it kicks in, i'm in two minds. the overall feel of the track is fantastic. beats are wicked, choice of bass is sound. I just don't like the structure. the main bassline could be alot better. sub bass is still good. the rest of the track is awesome. you have got a killer tune here man, apart from the main bassline. second build is upon me before i know it. let's see what happens here. Drops really nicely, however doesn't build up as much as i thought it would have, still having it tho. If you remix this one, change the bassline slightly, but leaving the rest of the track as it is, keep me a copy.
