Myself and Xample have finished a new liquid track we like to call "What could we do".
Take a listen to it and tell us what u think.

Ok, listening now.......
First of all i think the track starts a little abruptly. I think if you had started with the pads and then brought the beats in (or vice versa) it might have sounded a bit better, it's only a minor picky thing really, i couldn't find anything else negative to say about it.
- well mixed: no problems here at all, you guys know what you are doing here.
- good use of Fx throughout.
- didn't seem too repetative (which is good to achieve in dnb)
- All aspects of this track seemed to gel really well, nothing stuck out in my mind. Xellent
really nice vibe on this track, probably one of the better ones i have heard by yourself and Xample. Keep it up boys

OK , firstly I think u captured the liquid funk style reall well n the snappy vocal reminds me of Ricky Blues tracks. The strings are excellent and I like the part where they cut out n the tune drops to just bass n beats. The bassline is really clear and I know how difficult it can be to keep your subs sounding clear in fast patterns and it works really well in this track ......Marcus Intalex is the master of this .
Criticisms...... well firstly the way the track starts .... it just throws you in ..... this is ok if u start from the beats and work in the strings etc but u start with a big sound at once and this would sound better imo if u brought the rest of the sounds in slowly. The only other thing was the "woah" vocal....... it sounds good but to me it repeats too quickly over each bar ..... i think it would sound better if you spread these out more .
Final verdict .... its a phat track , enjoyable to listen to and I think a few more finishing touches would perfect it. The bassline makes it for me ... it is mixed well and sounds clear.

the track is sick! I told sol that. ive played it out and it goes down like any other heavy fabio type track. With these sort of liquid funk things, you have to start abruptly because then it gives you time to add other things and keep the listener interested, especially when the track is only max 7 mins long and the intro is approx 1.30mins. If you start getting all atmospheric and shit your track becomes too long and it seems like your trying to make too-much from a simple rolling idea. nice one sol, keep the beats rolling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! :deval: :deval: :deval:
had another listen and the third note of that hi string part is defo out of tune. can no one else hear it? it leaps out at me!!!
not that its wrong [cos there is no rules:D ] but out of tune all the same.
also i cant hear any bass line - but probably my pc speakers that one.
