The transfer rate from where this mix is held was capped at something stupid like 5kbps when I grabbed it ...
So it still took something like 4 hours on a b/band connection!

But I have it in my dnb shared folder for SlSk if anyone's after it (much!) faster ...
username: rewind-dnb

btw I don't leave Slsk on permanently (cos every time I log on I get like 20 ppl leeching the bloody Streets albums off me! :grr: ); so if you wanna grab it off me, let me know and I'll make sure I'm connected

If you don't want people leeching it, move it to a different folder, one you make on desktop perhaps?

im glad yuo all liked the mix.
but just for the record, i didn't do the vocals in heart beating, i co-produced the tune with the boys cyantific. on the flipside; be true, i wrote the lyrics and they were sung by a professional vocalist. anyway, i should be coming up with a new mix pretty soon and will post it on here.
cheers xxoo

I thought the vocals on 'be true' were taken from an old house tune. "Turn it around now baby, spend more time with me....". "Tell me you'll be true, love me forever baby, spend more time with me. I'm feeling the pain I know"......or something along those lines!

Very good tune though.

yeah you're right, but the lyrics had to be re-written.

can anyone ID the original house tune?

Was it by electribe 101? The vocal sounds very much like billie-ray martin. Titlewise I'd guess at 'turn it around'! I'm sure merly can confirm. Heard sasha play it years ago and it was incredible.

@merly - you done anything else lately?

Merly B

original tune is called Turn it around by Alena. Couple of remixes out there.
@MD..... slowly but surely ;)

Im more focused right now on getting my name out here in this side of the pond. It's hard to move from a place where you're established and well known throughtout.
Starting all over for me I guess. So any bookings are much appreciated :seeya:

me & Affray have just used that vocal on a tune too.

We'll have to nip down and give those pussy Cambridge boys a piece of our collective mind.
