yeah deval,s on the right track

trigger the midi sound with all the fx on etc record as audio and put back in the sampler and resample again and again or as many times as i feel makes the sound better
its makin sounds stand out alot more and makes them sound higher quality

i tried it out on an old tune i did i resamples all the sounds i used and found the track was about 10% better than the previous first mixdown
definatly something to try if u havnt already used this teqnique
i always heard the word resampling but never realy knew what it meant untill recent
definatly will be used every track i make from now on

Yeah sometimes we do that, not often though. Dont really need to.

I used to do that loads when I had one or two effect units or I needed to save a channel on the desk.

Not sure what you mean when you say that it sounds better when you sample it. Do you mean that you put it back through the same effect? If so, yeah that can be cool.

Only time we resample is once we finish a track. Each Individual part with its effect. So if somene is remixing one of our tracks we can send each part as it is in the mix. Its deffo worth doing that, then saving everything along with the master.

I have to do this!!!

Have been on shitty computers ever since i started trying out producing and i'm still only on a p-11 733 without any hardware. Can lead to some good effects, especially breaks, althougth im still convinced, whatever people say, that Fruity creates a lower sound quality when resampling.

N.B this is not a thread hijack!

Lol,

I agree and I use Fruity. My mate who uses logic his just gives keyboard some stoned taps and the sounds are way clearer than fruity. maybe its the plugins/equpiment, given that fruity tends to be "mainly" for beginners like myself because its easy to use. anyway, whatever. I'd love to hear some top level producers shoved onto fruity with minimal equipment just to see what they came up with quality wise.

i know some 1 round here that uses fruity and makes good tunes one of wich was played at metropolis last night

some people will argue that the newest version of fruity is capabale of doing the same as cubase or logic
isnt it something to do with the true tape recording? wich is what fruity doens t have
i use cubase meslef but saw how easy fruity was to use it practicly does everyhting for you
ill be sticking with cubase meslef anyway used it for 3 years so i prety much know what im doing with it might try logic in the future if i ever get a mac
