ive bin doin everyhting in 16 bit
some 1 jsut said to me do it all in 32 bit then resample it down when the track is finished to 16 bit 44.100 this includes saving samples in soundforge at 32 bit
they said it will definatly give me an extra 5 % more quality into the tune
but i cant tell the difference they all sound the same quality and 32 bit audio files are feckin massive?

any1 got any opinions /tips/websites with some more info about this :tea:

i do everything at 44.100 all though i do know people who work at higher sample rates than this! I guess its a matter of personal preference?

similar to the way you cant get 5.1 sound when you dont have the equipment
could this also be the same with what im on about would you need a 32 bit audio player and moniters to hear 32 bit sound
obviously i understand 32 bit is better quality but i cant hear ithe difference
altho i know some 1 that records from a DAB player and the sample rate it streams at is 16 bit 44,800
and ive noticed that his recordings are slightly betetr qaulity than mine as i record from sky digital wich streams DAB at 16 bit 44,100
its bloody confusing innit but its somethign i would like to educate myself about

for the time being im gonna stick to 16 bit 44,100 untill i get the knowledge
