View Full Version : DnB and hip hop
First of all i want to say how dnb is my soul music, it comes first but why not add some diversity, maybe something that adds a little bit of spice to take away the, only sometimes, monotony of the music? S'only a thought cos i went to sub-tub, granted not that many people in the second hip hop room but it has'nt been "really" tried in Liverpool. It might not work from the start but once people realised what was going on and that it was permanent then it might work?
X does it but with house, i dont know why, two contrasing scenes. It was good when the nofakin dj's were on,

Yes, yes know what you mean, hip-hop/ jungle nites are two good complementary scenes. Anyone remember Soundbombing @ heebie-jeebies, L'pool a copule of years ago? Good mix of people too, gets the crowds in. I remeber a couple of really phat nites there, such as digital and marcus headlinig. And lets not forget Jaquan and Pantha, pitty they left liverpool and the club shut down i liked that venue, good wednesday nite buzz. Big Smoke!!
Id have no probs with another room at a d n b night. I am not really a big hip hop fan (its not that i dont like it i dont really know enuff about it to comment)...
but id be for the house room at a d n b night or maybe a bit of tecnho...raves used to be like that...before the scene segregated...well it were all in one room back then (cue pictures of young child pushing bike up big hill in yorkshire)..
asok
