Hi everyone,
This is pretty much my first dnb tune, so go easy on me :)
I'm having some trouble setting the sub bass levels so it might require some EQ adjustment.
If anyone has any tips, or opinions on the tune I'd love to hear them.

That's quite a beasty tune you got going on there.
Really liking those strings :agree:
Dunno about the sub-bass (it sounds ok to me on p.c speakers), but the vocal sample/s seem to get drowned out by the main tune, and you can't really hear them.
They could do with being brought more to the fore imo

Its not my first tune, just my first dnb tune. I've been learning to produce for about two years now but I'm finding dnb is a whole different story.
As to what i made it with, you name it really but the sequencer i use is SX.
So what didnt you like about it? do you like the style but its just crap, or are you just not into that sort of dnb?

Ok, fair play mate.
29A is, Lol... not the bus :)
As it says on my signiture, 29A is hexadecimal for 666. In case you dont know hexadecimal is numerical/character based representation of a value (a computing ting). Anywayz thanks for the feedback DS.

That 'break' sample on the amen switch is so cliche mate. Sounding good though, do more to the harp line (vary the velocity of the notes to make it sound more human, make it peak on the top note. I like the tune though, sounds cool.
The structure needs work though, that harp just comes out of nowhere. You need to build the intro up, just listen to how similar producers do it (Fresh, Pendulum etc.)
Not really my style mate, so I can't offer too much constructive advice, but it's sounding cool.

Thanks man, i appreciate the advice. To be honest I'm just glad it didn't get laughed off the forums :) The fact that people think it has potential is excellent, its really encouraged me to try and improve my skills. So thanks very much everyone, and i hope i get as good a response from the next tune.
watch out pendulum....lol
