Just listened to the remix DS.... i m liking the tune and yeah i would play it outon a warm up set... one thing tho im not too fond on the Goldilocks sample ..think it is being used a little too much :tea:

the original was done ages ago when i didnt have as much technical ability there was no eq on the beats only compression and envelope
might redo the original one day and make it sound better
big up venja for the remix he took all the samples and made it sound well different

Prefer the original, but that's not to say the remix isn't a good piece of music in itself - it's just personal taste init ;)

Got to agree on the vox sample too - it's used far too much.
The repetition got a bit annoyin.
Reduce (or remove!) it, and I reckon the rmx would sound a hell of a lot better -- the over used vocal grabs all your attention, and detracts from the really good tune underneath ...

I really like this one, normally I'm like 'if its not so fking hard that its makes your ears bleed, i dont like it', but this is different. I'm well into that main instrument, it has a really 'ravey' / old skoolish sound to it.

yeah plenty of people who would get involved i reckon
theres a few more tunes and sample packs on the ftp and i see you remixed predator......
ill sort another sample pack and tune out next week
and ill im gonna start somehtign once i finsh the 2 tunes im doin probably try and remix octan+control -killah ...just still watin for the samples without fx and percussion over them of them

yeah good breaks

nice little vocal

not sure about the piano, melody a bit basic

piano gets better in breakdown

bit much of the vocal, needs some cool delay fx or cutoff during the predrop breakdown

good drop

nice oldskool groove

bass needs a bit more punch - compression?

good use of second vocal

yeah good track man, well produced beats, could use some pads though

I would probably play this

rob some swishy whooshy effects from a scifi film (aliens vs predator - shite film but loads of cool fx) and use them to add definition to the drops and buildups
