Was the title by any chance influenced by the effects of your post friday night food?

No, it wasn't.
Is your choice of your clothing governed by the colour of the food you are likely to vomit onto it?

No, I just eat a lot of blue food colouring so that it won't ruin the look of my jeans.

right Hago, I'll see you at The Garrick on the 26th November. I was very tired last time we were over but I will make sure I have had my beauty sleep this time and we'll get blitzed.
Looking forward to it.

nice breaks
cool ambient fx
bass seems a bit too seperate, needs binding to the beats
beats need more punch to connect with the bass, use a drum machine to put some kicks and snares over the breaks, espescially put some kicks under the snares to give them some impact
then put the whole lot thru a compressor with a very short attack (1-2ms) and medium release, 5:1 compresion or something and play around with the threshold

Its got that wishiy washy feel to it that i like and i reckon is a trait of many a manc tune!! Good thing though.
Dunno about the bongo type things going on though, might be my speakers but they sound far too loud and a bit snide (hope that dont sound harsh).
Nice and rollin though, hope to hear this out some time in the future.
How are you anyway big man, not seen you for a while.

I'm good thanks, thought I saw you in Chorlton earlier today but it was someone else.
Wishy washy in my books means cak but it seems your definition is different so nice one.

just listened to it now.......all the drums etc sound fine.....
.....except i just dont get it...
.... it doesnt sound right.....
....cant put my finger on it......think nolan was right when he said 'wishy-washy'....
the breaks are fine
the bassline is fine
think the bassline melody may be too long for the actual arrangement of the breaks.....if you get me.....
if your working on it more at home ive no doubt itll be improved upon.....not saying its bad, its alot better than my attempts, but like i said to me it just doesnt sound 'perfect'.

I am re-working it but only to add a few new drum samples and to adjust the levels on new speakers, it will not sound much different.

not to give you the wrong impression....its probably an amazing tune......
......maybe its just me and my taste of tunes.....
....honesty is the best policy.....
unless you get arrested/punched in the face/blamed for the death of something.....then it would be wise to keep your mouth shut and/or lie....
i cant knock it.....it just doesnt give me a buzz....
sorry....
....your not goin to punch me are you.....?
your bigger than me.....

good structured tune joe
like the pan pipe sort of sound
only thing i didnt like was that hats that came in around 45 seconds sounded a bit loud and maybe bits of the beats needed tightening up and i into them random bongo hits in it they sound good man
good work man

cheers Dave, yeah, I think you are talking about the ride cymbal there, comes in after that little sub break? MD said the same when he heard it. I did make it quite loud intentionally. I think it picks up the pace nicely.

D/L this a while ago but didn't review!!
Just listening again, really like the vibe, likin that b-line got some nice subtle wobble on it. Cymbals ok 4 me, it's the bongos that I reckon are that bit to loud. 'Part from that it's a nice shuffler and nicely balanced.
