An idea nicked from DOA forum about sample cd,s

i was looking at the DOA forum and they r going to make a sample cd wich will be available to buy from Them.
So what i am going to say is "NWDNB.CO.UK SAMPLE CD".
Im sure there is enough people who could contribute to this .
it would prob take a good few months to compile but i think its a good idea aslong as they was cheap under a tenner £9:99 and the money made after sales was put back into nwdnb.co.uk.

good idea but i dont think this board is really busy enough to sell enough copies, 160 members...

well ya wouldnt have to sell directly to board members you could sell it in a number of places record shops around north west other forums etc and u could sell it for say £12 and give it to members of this board for £10 £2 discount for members.
or even create a downloadable samples page on this forum.

this might sound daft but at this moment in time, were not really interested in making money out of the site. We want to build a coommunity that helps and shares stuff between each other, so i think i speak for all the wonderful hard working people here at the nwdnb offices when i say that id rather see you posting sample cd's to each other, and getting each other a pint in the callie on a thursday as a favour.

well what i ment by you making money was not to make millions:D but money to pay for servers web space and whatever costs you come across to run this site
