Just a quick note to anyone who is interested to say that the new version of Pro Evolution soccer AND fifa 2003 are both released this friday. My ps2 chip has just come and ive got one of em (pro evo 2) and its fucking ace.
i am going into hibernation onfriday and will emerge on the boxing day nwdnb night looking like a large wonderfully colorful shinpad.
Anyone who thinks footy games are shit must be a bender.

As far as two player games go - football games rock!! You can't beat that sense of joy when you come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in the final few minutes of a match!! The only other game to rival footie games has been the Tekken series. Many a broken joypad from Tekken induced fits of rage and hysteria!!
Still think the best multiplayer game is Bishi Bashi Special on the PS! Lager, skunk and playstations have never worked so well together. Any1 want a copy gimme a PM, I want people to play it cos its so good.
Also, use a knackered set of pads because they end up up getting absolutely cained!

Heh heh for me nothin beats playin Tekken Tag Tournament with a crate of beer n a bunch of smokable materials ....
.... And kickin 7 shades of shit out of your mate by managing to swap characters 4 times; delivering a constant onslaught of blows while his poor pooftah is still in the air ....
4 player multi-mash-up-mayhem on Halo on the (se)X-box comes a close second; and online team warfare on Soldier of Fortune II on the p.c comes in a close third!
Class gaming!
Four player micro machines on the mega drive was fucking fun! And i still to this day believe that the Mega Drive version of Street Fighter 2 was superior to the SNES. I should also point out tat I am INDESTRUCTABLE at this game. Ryu 4eva!

The only thing that kicks ass nowadays, in my humble opinion, is playing Medal Of Honour online with a bunch of people from all around the globe, all speaking to each other (real-time) via the headset, getting your tactics right, and blowing some motherfuckers brains out from 600 yards away with a goddamn sniper rifle. The bitch never knew what hit him until he's on the floor with some grey and pink matter sprayed across his face. That rocks!!!!! That TRULY rocks!!!!!!!!

the controls take bit of getting used to but it's a class game...:slayer:
I come watch a DVD on my Xbox last night for 1st time and this bastard screen came up telling me I need to buy the DVD add on / remote to play DVD's.
What a fuckin rip off. PS2's play DVD outa the box.
Microsoft scum bags.
So now to get my Xbox (which plays DVD games) to play DVD movies I have to buy a remote control unit for £30.

i bought a cube cos it was touted as the best console for gaming but its only got about 5 games out...:burn:
